In addition, it owns two exploration stage properties, such as the Santa Rosa project comprising 4 mining concessions that covers an area of approximately 1,514 hectares, located to the northeast of Guanajuato; and the El Horcon project, which consists of 17 contiguous mining concessions covering an area of approximately 7,908 hectares, located northwest of Guanajuato. The company was formerly known as Great Panther Resources Limited and changed its name to Great Panther Silver Limited in January 2010.
